North Elmham School

North Elmham CE VA Primary School is a long-established Church of England village school, situated in the heart of North Elmham. The main part of the school is more than one hundred years old. The original building was extended in the 1950s and completely refurbished in 1997 when a new block comprising four classrooms, craft area, group room and library was added.

At North Elmham Primary School we believe all our children have the ability to achieve their full potential. We are committed to providing a broad and balanced curriculum, within a stimulating and nurturing environment, with Christian values at its heart.

Together in partnership, children, parents, staff and governors create a sense of belonging, which leads to happy and confident individuals.

Our facilities include:

A large activity hall

A well-stocked library

A large school field and playground with play equipment for different key stages

An extensive outdoor area dedicated to EYFS

A dedicated area to Welly Day (outdoor learning)

A quiet indoor and outdoor reflection area

A small gardening area

Our classes:

We have three mixed-age classes, each linked to a Bible story- Sheep, Whales and Lions. Depending on the intake each year and the needs of the children the year groups are then mixed accordingly.

For the academic year 2021/2022 the classes are:

Sheep - Reception, Year 1, Year 2

Whales - Year 3, Year 4

Lions - Year 5, Year 6
